Keysoe Row, Bedfordshire, UK
Turneys contractors was proud to be a part of a retirred couples dream of building their own house in Keysoe row, Bedfordshire, UK.
We installed a 0.7mm grey patina vm zinc standing seam roof system to their snug room and entrance lobby.
The entrance lobby had a zinc soffit, facsia, roof covering and flashings which incuded a 7+ metre secret gutter with integral downpipe where as the snug was more of a traditional style apex roof with a standard dry verge and straight flashing detail topped off with a g3 ridge system which allows airflow within the roof structure.

Kitchen extension in Lewisham, London, UK
This was a warm roof which meant we had to install a vapour control layer (VCL) before laying insulation. Once the insulation was installed and sealed we used a breathable membrane which we then fixed 0.7 anthracite VM zinc using a warmfast system. Hidden box gutter and capping was also installed on this job.

A challenging space to fill with all sides being a completely different angle to the next however we managed to get the job done and had a very happy customer once we had finished.

Muswell hill, North London, UK
Turneys contractors unfortunately did not get the opportunity to install the zinc on this particular roof however we was able to add the finishing touches with the concrete coping stones around the top of the parapet wall.

Planters
Within our industry there are many transferrable skills, which we decided to utilise during the pandemic…. these planters are just an example of the skills we have to offer. By the way these bespoke planters are still available to order on our website.

Leak
his customer had a horrible and consistent leak for weeks which had caused a lot of damage to their interior walls. Turneys contractors identified where the leak in the wall was and also discovered that the insulation wasn’t installed correctly. After resolving the issue we made the area that was cut out look as if nothing had ever happened.

Another example of our transferable skills is this bespoke storage shed.
The customer had asked for us to make the most of an akward space which had a step in the floor and in the back wall. We decided the best way to overcome this would be to build a timber frame using c16 timber and covered with an 18mm osb board. To make the shed look as nice and sleek as possible we also used a product which we are familiar with that is the 0.7mm kalzip alluminum. Fantastic finish and a very satisfied customer.

Trellis Wall
This customer asked for a trellis separation wall which they can hang plants on. A 2x4 base with a 20mm wide router line down the centre for the trellis panels to slip in to and be securely fixed.

Stamford Hill Planters
These planters are made of 2x2 timber and deck boards. All four planters measured and made off site and delivered to the customer with a perfect fit.
